Engagement Dinner Invitations

February 12, 2015

Seeing as G and I are getting married in a little over 8 months, we thought there wasn’t much point in having an engagement party. That said, we didn’t want our engagement to pass by with little acknowledgement. So, to meet somewhere in the middle, we decided to host an intimate dinner with our parents and bridal party.

In an effort to create a sense of occasion I printed some invitations which we sent out to our guests a few weeks ago. At first we were going to design and print them ourselves, but I stumbled upon Zazzle while researching designs. I’d never used Zazzle before, but it was super quick and easy to pick a design, edit the content and send it off to print. These invites were delivered to my door within 3 weeks and they came with envelopes too!

I used this charming garden floral wreath design and changed up the wording a little to make it a bit more fun and a bit less formal. I was really happy with how they turned out!

I’ve now got the bug for creating more personalised items – at Zazzle you can print on t-shirts, mugs, phone covers and even watches! Did someone say amaze-balls?
